This ongoing work is predominantly an exploration of character design. "Dillany" is a ship name for Avanessian's original characters Dillan and Anthony, who are an angel-demon couple with completely opposing personalities. Some of the illustrations let the viewer in on the relationship dynamic between Dillan and Anthony and the world they reside in, while others are purely an exploration in character design.
